Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position in Glendale, AZ, supporting K-8 students across one school and two specialized programs. This role focuses on delivering speech therapy services to a diverse student population, including behavioral and multiple disability programs. Responsibilities Provide individualized speech-language therapy to students in kindergarten through 8th grade. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Assess, diagnose, and track progress for students with speech and language disorders. Support two specialized programs: one for behavioral students and another for students with multiple disabilities. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and district policies. Participate in meetings, conferences, and ongoing professional development. Qualifications Valid SLP certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) eligibility. Prior experience working in school settings preferred. Strong understanding of speech therapy practices for children with behavioral and multiple disabilities. Ability to work 40 hours per week and commit to the contract duration through the end of the school year. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
