School Bus Aide

The School Bus Aide is responsible for ensuring students are safe during the course of transport from home to school.Monday thru Friday, split shift approximately 15-25 hours per week.Reliability and timeliness is a must daily. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Experience working with children with disabilities. Required criminal history background check, proof of U.S.citizenship or legal resident Ability to get to and from work Must be reliable and timely Flexible work schedule to work split shift (morning / afternoon) Ability to speak and understand English JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE:SCHOOL BUS AIDE/MONITOR Monitor the welfare of students while in route Communicates behavior problems and conditions of various stops with the driver Assists students in the loading and unloading process Cooperates and communicates with school personnel, students, and parents Attends all safety and training meetings Assists driver whenever necessary Daily attendance Clean & sanitize vehicle daily MINIMUM Qualifications: At least 18 years old Early morning and afternoon availability Must be able to pass background and fingerprints Job Type:Part-time Pay:$15.92 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have experience working with children with special needs?
