Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong human relation skills. Good physical condition with ability to lift 10 pounds A philosophy of school counseling which includes the providing of: Academic leadership, Curriculum knowledge, A safe, orderly and effective school climate, High performance expectations, Parent and community involvement, and A standard operation procedure that promotes two-way communications and grass roots input in the decision-making process. Additional Preferred Experience as a school counselor. Successful experience in managing a growing, modern comprehensive school guidance program. LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 195 Days - Certified/Exempt SALARY: Commensurate with the Ocean Springs salary schedule for certified positions for the 2026 – 2027 school year.
