Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Counselor to join our educational community. In this vital role, you will support students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development to foster a positive learning environment. Your expertise will help students navigate challenges, develop essential life skills, and achieve their full potential. Duties Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on academic success, behavioral health, mental health counseling, and personal development. Develop and implement behavioral management strategies to promote positive student behavior and conflict resolution. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to create tailored intervention plans that address each student’s unique needs. Assist in crisis intervention and provide guidance on child welfare issues, ensuring a safe and supportive school environment. Requirements Master's degree in School Counseling with a current license and certification. Minimum two years experience working with children in a school setting. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and teachers. Knowledge of behavior management techniques and conflict management strategies. Familiarity with child protective services protocols. Experience in individual and group counseling. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy while maintaining confidentiality. Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour Work Location: In person
