School Crossing Guard

Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Crossing Guard to ensure the safety of pedestrians, especially children, at designated street crossings.The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining traffic control and ensuring the safe passage of individuals.Hours: 2 hours in the morning; 2 hours in the afternoon when school is in session Duties: Safely guide pedestrians and students across designated intersections - Monitor traffic flow and stop vehicles when necessary to allow pedestrians to cross - Communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and school staff - Report any traffic violations or safety concerns to appropriate authorities - Assist in ensuring compliance with crossing guard procedures and regulations Requirements: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse groups of people - Knowledge of basic first aid procedures - Understanding of compliance management related to traffic regulations - CPR certification preferred but not required.
