Overview The school nurse plays a critical role in supporting the health, wellness, and academic success of students on campus. They address the healthcare needs that arise, ensuring that students can thrive by creating a safe and supportive environment. They are responsible for providing medical assistance to school-age students, and they will complete multiple tasks each day including but not limited to assessing minor injuries, administering controlled substances, maintaining shot records, and requesting emergency services Genuine faith in Christ that is clearly expressed in daily life Passion for working with school aged students and their families Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred Registered and Licensed by the State of Texas required
