What We're Looking For Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Current Illinois OT license in good standing with the State License Board. NBCOT certification. Educator's license or valid Illinois teaching credentials as required by the district. Experience working in school-based settings, including assessments, IEP development, and collaboration with educational teams. (Client requires school setting experience.) Experience with therapeutic strategies for early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school students. (Preferred: experience across multiple age groups and self-contained classrooms.) What You'll Do Provide occupational therapy services in a school setting, including resource and some self-contained assignments. Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and deliver goal-aligned interventions. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school teams to support student participation and access to the curriculum. Maintain documentation compliant with district, state, and federal guidelines. First Day of Work: August 10, 2026. Last Day of Work: May 24, 2027. Student Populations: Early childhood, elementary, middle school, and high school.
