Step into an engaging school-based Occupational Therapist opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year! This full-time contract position serves students across K-12, providing meaningful support and development beginning August 2026 and wrapping up in May 2027. You'll be immersed in a dynamic educational environment with a Monday through Friday schedule while focusing on your direct and indirect therapy services-no extra school responsibilities such as bus or parent duty required. Qualifications & Experience: Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current Occupational Therapist license, or eligibility, in South Carolina. Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families. Ability to adapt therapy plans for varied student needs across age groups. Responsibilities: Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to K-12 students per IEP requirements. Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans to promote functional and academic success. Collaborate with educators and families to implement strategies that enhance student participation. Maintain documentation and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reviews within your scheduled hours.
