Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Desired Experience And Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Valid Washington Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date) Previous experience providing OT services in a K-12 educational setting strongly preferred Skilled in evaluations, developing IEPs, and implementing intervention strategies for diverse student populations Strong communication and organizational abilities for collaboration with educators, families, and related services Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development Key Responsibilities Conduct assessments and develop individualized goals to support student engagement and participation Deliver occupational therapy services through both direct intervention and consultative support Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to integrate strategies across environments Document progress, maintain compliance with federal and state education guidelines, and participate in IEP meetings Adapt interventions and materials to address a variety of needs, ensuring access and inclusion for all students Enjoy the flexibility of a contract role while gaining valuable experience in school-based occupational therapy.
