Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. This unique contract opportunity is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist with strong experience in school, home health, and healthcare settings. Your expertise will support a student who is bed-bound and requires in-person, ongoing therapy. Spanish/English bilingual skills are highly valued, as direct communication with the student’s family is essential. If not bilingual, your application is still encouraged, as alternative language supports could be arranged. Qualifications & Experience Licensed Occupational Therapist in Pennsylvania Previous experience in schools, home health, or a healthcare setting Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred, but not required Experience with medically fragile and non-ambulatory students is a plus Compassionate communication and strong interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team Role & Responsibilities Provide 2.5 hours of direct occupational therapy services per week to a middle school student Deliver tailored therapeutic interventions to support functional and academic skills Collaborate with SLP and PT colleagues to ensure comprehensive care (7.5 collective hours/week) Maintain progress documentation and uphold best practices in patient care Communicate effectively with the student’s parents and educational staff, using Spanish where possible or interpreter if needed Commit to a consistent, long-term schedule, with potential for increased hours over time Additional Details Year-round, indefinite assignment—ideal for those seeking a stable, long-term position Start as soon as possible or at the beginning of the next school year If you excel at building trust, adapting your approach to unique needs, and are passionate about making a lasting impact, this opportunity awaits you.
