Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated School Psychologist to work onsite with a hybrid schedule in the Centralia, WA area supporting multiple school sites. The role primarily focuses on providing psychological services at the elementary level, with some involvement in high school settings and potential options for preschool support. Key Responsibilities Conducting initial psychological evaluations and re-evaluations for students Managing referrals and maintaining an appropriate caseload Providing support across three school sites, with a ratio of approximately one psychologist per 1,000 students Administering baseline testing consistent with expected volumes (approximately 60 initial evaluations per full year, excluding re-evaluations) Collaborating with school staff and families to support student success Qualifications And Experience Washington State School Psychologist license is required Valid driver’s license and Social Security card for background verification purposes Over two years of experience preferred; strong new graduates will also be considered Familiarity with state fingerprinting requirements and records check (OSI database) Commitment to working onsite four days per week with one remote day as part of a hybrid schedule Position Details Contract term: January 5th through June 12th, with additional days possible due to weather-related closures Weekly hours: 37.5 hours standard, with opportunity for up to 40 hours upon prior approval Locations: Three school sites with travel between locations required Interview availability: December 15th–19th; scheduling accommodations can be made This role allows an experienced or emerging professional to make a meaningful impact on students’ educational and emotional well-being within a supportive hybrid work environment.
