Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Working on a contract basis near Orland Park, IL, you’ll collaborate within a supportive school environment, fulfilling vital roles in special education and student support services. This full-time position aligns with regular school hours (7:30am–2:30pm), totaling 35 hours each week, providing a stable and structured schedule perfect for those passionate about education and youth development. Key Responsibilities In this dynamic role, you’ll engage in: Conduct comprehensive special education evaluations to assess student needs. Serve as an active member of the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) team, contributing expertise and collaborating with other professionals. Analyze and interpret data related to students’ academic performance and social-emotional growth, informing strategies that foster student success. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to teachers, parents, and staff. Support behavioral interventions and assist with the development of individualized education plans (IEPs). Qualifications And Experience Sought Valid School Psychologist certification (or eligibility to obtain, as required by state regulations). Demonstrated experience with special education evaluations and involvement in collaborative student support teams. Strong data analysis skills and the ability to use data for problem-solving and intervention planning. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
