Job Description
Step into a rewarding role supporting students' academic and emotional development in an engaging school environment near Tempe, AZ. As a contract School Psychologist, you will work closely with students, teachers, and families to identify challenges and foster success. Key Qualifications & Experience: Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology required Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results Strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI), IEP development, and special education services Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to manage a diverse caseload of students in elementary, middle, or high school settings Organizational skills for maintaining accurate documentation and timely reporting Core Responsibilities: Administer formal and informal assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional functioning Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and review IEPs, behavior intervention plans, and 504 plans Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services as needed Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support positive student outcomes and school climate Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to all federal, state, and district guidelines Offer guidance and professional development to staff on interventions, classroom strategies, and mental health support In this contract role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while enjoying professional autonomy and the chance to collaborate with a supportive school community.
