School Psychologist (1.0 FTE) Student Services KEA Salary Schedule and Grade $45,768-$89,433 10 Month, Full-time Scope of Responsibilities Actively participates as a member of building support teams to assist with data, programs, assessments, interventions, and problem-solving needs. Leads the multidisciplinary evaluation team, collects, analyzes, and interprets data, and participates in the special education identification process. Performance Responsibilities Participates as a member of the building support team to assist all students in making academic progress. This includes serving as a data expert, assessment expert, and interventionist specialist utilizing Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RtI), and Positive Behavior & Literacy Supports (PBLS). Uses data-based decision making to lead a problem-solving model in dealing with student academic and behavioral concerns. Consults with principals, staff members, and parents/guardians to assist students in making academic progress. Aligns goals and objectives from the building team process to meet the needs of students; in addition, may make home visits to assist with information collection, family resources, evaluations and supports. Reviews, analyzes, and revises implementation plans and interventions, monitors the integrity of strategies and plans. Utilizes a variety of assessments to determine the need for special education services, Section 504 plans, functional behavioral assessments, or academic/ behavior plans. Provides analysis and interpretation of information and data in oral and written reports. Conducts Individualized Educational Planning Team (IEPT) and Section 504 Plan
