Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. A full-time bilingual school psychologist opportunity awaits in Chicago, IL, designed for professionals fluent in both English and Spanish. Key Qualifications Illinois School Psychologist Certification and a Professional Educator License (PEL) are required. Fluency in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with students, families, and staff. Experience conducting evaluations, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and delivering counseling services. Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competence to work within a diverse community. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs related to learning and behavior. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop appropriate interventions. Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services. Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and support compliance with state and federal regulations. Utilize bilingual skills to enhance communication and engagement with Spanish-speaking families.
