Job Description
Step into a meaningful role supporting students as a School Psychologist at a high school near New Berlin, WI! This full-time, in-person contract runs from January 5th through the end of the school year, offering the chance to make a lasting impact during this important academic period. Your day-to-day will be rooted at one high school, providing consistency and the opportunity to foster meaningful connections with students, faculty, and families. Key Qualifications & Experience: State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist in Wisconsin Previous experience working within a school environment is highly valued Expertise in conducting evaluations, preparing psychological reports, and participating in IEP/eligibility meetings Strong commitment to ethical practice and upholding the highest standards of confidentiality Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Core Responsibilities: Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students, interpreting data to inform educational decisions Compile clear, comprehensive psychological reports in a timely manner Attend and actively participate in meetings, including IEP and assessment team discussions Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success and well-being Serve as a resource for staff regarding student mental health and behavioral strategies This position follows typical school hours, approximately 7:30am to 3:30pm, allowing for a stable work-life balance with evenings free.
