Job Overview We are seeking Seamstress Tailor to join our bridal dream team. In this role you will use tailoring skills to alter bridal gowns, Mother of the bride gowns, and prom dresses to fit the individual wearer. Your craftsmanship will ensure each piece meets high-quality standards, providing customers with beautifully finished products that reflect their unique style. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in store or at your home studio. Duties Use sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to assemble, alter, and repair garments with precision and care Measure clients accurately to ensure perfect fit and make necessary adjustments for optimal comfort and style Experience Prior experience working in alterations is preferred, but we are willing to teach too! Hoping for strong knowledge of garment construction techniques and tailoring principles Ability to interpret patterns, measurements, and technical drawings accurately is a plus but not mandatory Basic math skills for measuring, pattern adjustments, and fabric calculations Familiarity with fashion trends and an eye for detail to deliver high-quality finished products This is a HIGHLY flexible job with compensation that can either reflect an hourly rate (based on experience) or payment per garment finished model. Hours are highly flexible, as long as deadlines are met, and while interactions with brides can happen, it is not mandatory that you have client facing duties (open to seamstress preference).
