Skilled Seamstress/Tailor needed specifically for women's formal alterations and mens suits.Examples:Mother of Bride/Groom dresses, Prom Dresses, Bridesmaid Dress, suits, etc.Must have experience using an industrial sewing machine.Must be willing to learn to use industrial serger.Must have prior knowledge of alterations procedures performed on dresses specifically:Alterations with zippers, alterations to bodices/bust adjustments, sides adjustment involving embellishment (lace, beads, etc.) and hemming various types of fabrics including styles with trains.For this position we are specifically looking for someone who is able to work in our shop 6-7 hours a day on weekdays.Thread and other materials required for the alterations will be provided.Specialty tools and machinery will be provided.Pay Rate:Services are priced by the piece which allows a skilled seamstress/tailor to make up to $30 per hour.Pricing is variable and will be discussed during interview process due to the 'piece rate' nature of the work.Job Types:Part-time, Contract Pay:From $17.00 per hour Benefits:Flexible schedule Experience:Sewing:2 years (Required) Work Location:In person.
