GENERAL SUMMARY The Seasonal Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining various areas of the club, including gym facilities, locker rooms, tennis courts, restaurant areas, pools, and common spaces, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for members and guests. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS General Facility Cleaning: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean the gymnasium, fitness areas, lounge spaces, hallways, and locker rooms. Sanitize and restock all bathrooms, including replenishing towels, soap, toilet paper, and other amenities. Clean and disinfect fitness equipment, benches, and machines regularly to ensure hygiene standards are met. Clean mirrors, windows, and other glass surfaces, especially in the gym and tennis areas. Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with club policies. Restaurant & Dining Areas: Clean dining tables, chairs, and seating areas in the restaurant and cafe. Wipe down counters and high-touch surfaces in dining areas. Ensure the restaurant floor is clean and free from debris, including sweeping and mopping as needed. Tennis Court and Outdoor Areas: Clean and maintain the club's outdoor and indoor tennis courts, ensuring they are free of debris and dirt. Wipe down seating areas and benches located near the courts. Ensure that any outdoor equipment (e.g., tennis ball carts, nets) is kept tidy and in good condition. Laundry and Linens: Wash, dry, and fold towels, gym clothing, and other linens used by members. Ensure that fresh towels are readily available for the pool, gym, and tennis players. Maintain an organized system for linen storage and ensure all items are properly laundered. Inventory Management: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, towels, and toiletries for locker rooms and gym areas. Report any equipment malfunctions or inventory shortages to the facility manager. Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and clean environment. Use cleaning products safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions. Ensure that all areas are regularly disinfected, especially high-touch surfaces like door handles, gym equipment, and locker room facilities. Customer Service & Member Interaction: Greet and assist members and guests with any cleaning-related requests, such as additional towels or gym equipment. Maintain a polite, professional demeanor while working around members and staff.
