Environmental Specialist (Seasonal, Part-Time) Camp Courageous - Monticello, IA$16 per hour April - November Are you reliable, hardworking, and someone who takes pride in doing the job right the first time? Camp Courageous is seeking a dedicated Environmental Specialist who understands that a clean environment is essential to creating a safe, welcoming experience for campers, guests, and staff.This role is ideal for someone who values consistency, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys being part of a mission-driven team.At Camp Courageous, the work you do directly supports children and adults with disabilities.Your attention to detail helps ensure every guest feels comfortable, cared for, and respected.Pay $16 per hour Schedule:Monday- Friday with weekend times possible including:Friday:9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Sunday:11:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday & Tuesday:4:00 PM - 7:00 PM (evenings) Seasonal:April through November Part-time Hours may vary based on camp programming and events Applicants must be available for all listed shifts.Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize cabins, common areas, and restrooms Replenish toiletries, linens, and cleaning supplies Perform laundry duties Empty trash and recyclables Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety Assist with event setup and cleanup as needed Report maintenance or repair needs promptly Respond courteously to staff and guest requests Work collaboratively with the maintenance team Qualifications Experience with commercial cleaning preferred Knowledge of cleaning practices and procedures Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable and punctual Strong communication skills Positive, team-oriented attitude Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Comfortable working across multiple buildings on camp property If you are dependable, take pride in your work, and want to make a meaningful difference in a mission-focused environment, we encourage you to apply.Apply Here:https://campcourageous.org/apply-for-job/ Join Camp Courageous in Monticello, IA and help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone we serve.Job Type:Part-time Pay:From $16.00 per hour Application Question(s):Do you have prior experience with commercial cleaning?
