Job Summary Center Village Condominiums is seeking a reliable lifeguard or qualified swimmer for the 2026 summer pool season.Center Village is a quiet, 60-unit condominium community.Pool usage is generally light during the week, often fewer than 10 residents, with busier weekends occasionally approaching the Town's maximum occupancy limit of 19 people.In this role, you will oversee pool safety, monitor guest activities, and ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the pool area.Your proactive approach and quick response skills will help prevent accidents and promote a fun, secure experience for everyone.Duties Vigilantly monitor pool activity to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed Conduct regular pool maintenance including cleaning, chemical checks, and equipment inspections Perform routine pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming, and maintaining water clarity Maintain accurate records of safety checks, incident reports, and maintenance logs Support pool area upkeep by managing pool supplies and ensuring cleanliness of surrounding facilities Requirements Valid lifeguard certification or Qualified Swimmer Certificate with current CPR and First Aid certifications Ability to swim confidently in various water conditions Knowledge of pool maintenance practices including chemical balancing and cleaning procedures Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays Schedule:Pool season runs Memorial Day through Labor Day Memorial Day through late June:pool open 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM Friday through Sunday.Late June through Memorial Day:pool open 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM, seven days a week Full-time and part-time positions available Half pay provided if the pool closes due to weather Pay:$22.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
