Monitor pool areas continuously to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies using first aid and CPR techniques Conduct regular pool maintenance including cleaning, chemical checks, and equipment inspections Assist guests with pool access, provide excellent guest services, and answer questions about facility amenities Perform routine pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming, and balancing water chemistry Maintain safety equipment and ensure all rescue gear is in good working order Document incidents, safety checks, and maintenance activities accurately in logs Other duties as asigned Minimum age of 16. Certifications: CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid and Emergency Oxygen. Current Lifeguard or equivalent. Ability to maintain certification-level of physical and mental readiness. Must demonstrate lifeguard skills in accordance with MRYC standards. Physical Demands The ability to hear noises and distress signals in the aquatic environment, including in the water and anywhere around the zone of responsibility.
