Summary Performs simple and routine work involved in the maintenance and repair of grounds, exterior structures, buildings and related utilities, requiring the use of a variety of trade practices associated with occupations such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical, cement work, painting, and other related trades.This job is open to The public U.S.Citizens, Nationals or those who owe allegiance to the U.S.Career transition (CTAP, ICTAP, RPL) Federal employees whose job, agency or department was eliminated and are eligible for priority over other applicants.Duties Performs simple and routine maintenance and repair of trails, grounds, exterior structures, buildings, equipment and related utilities.Performs minor carpentry repairs, painting, and plumbing duties.Performs routine cleaning and maintenance on campground sites, trails, and restroom facilities.Assists higher graded maintenance workers or tradesmen in the performance of their work.Receives, unloads and processes incoming shipments according to established procedures.Operates a light truck, ATV, UTV or other vehicles to pick up supplies and to transport materials to and from work sites.Operates a forklift to load and unload supplies and light equipment not requiring special rigging.Cut-off Dates:This is an open continuous announcement, in which applications are collected over several months, and have multiple cut-off dates.Applications received by the initial cutoff date will be considered first.
