Seasonal Operations Associate

The Seasonal Operations Associate supports daily order processing and last-mile coordination within a MDC.This role is critical to ensuring orders are accurately prepared, routed, and delivered within established service level agreements.This position operates at the intersection of fulfillment, dispatch, and customer communication--requiring strong organizational discipline, real-time problem solving, and consistent communication with drivers and the Telecenter.The associate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities.Key Responsibilities Order Processing & Execution Process and prepare daily customer orders to meet strict delivery deadlines Ensure accuracy and completeness of all orders prior to dispatch Support inventory handling, product movement, and general workflow execution Dispatch & Driver Coordination Assist with routing deliveries and assigning orders to drivers when leadership is unavailable Communicate with drivers throughout the day to monitor delivery progress and resolve issues in real time Ensure all deliveries are completed on schedule and all delivery confirmation (DLC) requirements are finalized by end-of-day deadlines Communication & Support Serve as a point of contact for inbound calls and coordinate with the Telecenter to address order or delivery issues Provide clear, timely updates to internal stakeholders regarding order status and exceptions Operational Flexibility Support additional MDC functions as needed, including inventory, basic floral handling/design support, and general facility operations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Requirements:Required:High school diploma or equivalent Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Word Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume environment Ability to clearly communicate instructions and updates across teams Basic math skills and attention to detail Ability to follow directions and execute tasks with minimal supervision Preferred:Floral or florist experience Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages relevant to workforce/customer base) Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods Comfortable working in varying temperature conditions (hot and cold environments) Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and peak season overtime The expected hourly pay range for this position is $18 to $20 per hour.Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law..
