OwowCow is a fast-paced, small-batch hand crafted ice cream company based in Bucks County, PA and are gearing up for a busy busy summer season! We are looking to add an enthusiastic member to our team to assist in the batching of our ice cream, swirling each pan into a glorious piece of creamy sweet art.This is a super important role in our company and working with and making ice cream all day can be very rewarding.Responsibilities for this position include:-Ice cream batching (this includes shuttling our fresh batched ice cream into our -25 degree walk in blast freezeryes, NEGATIVE 25).This is the main responsibility for the candidate.You will learn how to swirl each inclusion into the ice cream according to our Chef's specs and be conscious of how each component should taste in the ice cream.-Tasting every batch of ice cream as it is made -Light prep work including the roasting of fruits, preparation of various ice cream inclusions.At OwowCow, we make every part of our ice cream by hand using the finest local and organic ingredients and aim to make the best tasting product possible.We take extreme pride in our ice cream and it shows.We do all of our own baking, and hand dip our novelty items.We have an Executive Chef and a team of handworkers who are super passionate about what we do.We'd love to hear from you :-) WE ARE A FAST PACED, HARD WORKING ENVIRONMENT.BEING ABLE TO LIFT 50LBS MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY IS REQUIRED.Our production hours are Monday-Friday - 7am to 3 pm starting from April to September.Great summer job opportunity!
