Position Overview:Our Recycling Zone Workers work a part-time schedule and support the operations of our hazardous household waste & recycling center by performing a variety of light-industrial activities while taking care of customers.Feel good about the work you're doing, the business you're supporting, and make REALLY good money doing it.Responsibilities:Assist in unloading items from individual vehicles into carts & dumpsters Answer questions from customers Unload carts and perform basic identification/sorting tasks Maintain proper housekeeping Open used oil containers and dump into drain tub Move full 55-gallon drums of paints/solvents around using hand cart Consistently follow work instructions and operating procedures Periodically operate forklift Occasionally stack tires in the storage cage Requirements:High School Diploma or GED required Customer centricity to internal and external customers Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills Multi-tasking skills, prioritization skills, and strong sense of urgency Excellent organizational skills with the ability to be flexible and change priorities as needed, allowing for optimum effectiveness Highly self-motivated and directed; ability to work independently and work well under pressure, handle multiple disciplines concurrently, attend to details, and meet deadlines under limited direction Gopher Resource is an Equal Opportunity Employer.GRERP.
