POSITION INFORMATION Position: Recreation Facilities Supervisor IV Location: North Region Start/End Date: 5/31/26 - 9/12/26 (15 weeks) Work Hours: 40 hours weekly, M-F (8 hours per day) - Schedule shifts to include one (1) weekend day once facilities open for the season. of positions: 1 Salaries are based upon full-time/40 hours worked per week. Work schedules and days off are at the discretion of the Supervisor. This position may require working weekends and/or holidays Please Note: Salary range compensation by hours worked is determined by several factors, including experience, seniority, the agency’s budget, and the nature of the role (e.g., short-term contract vs. full-time position). For union positions, salary is determined in accordance with the applicable bargaining unit's salary schedule and governing regulations. For the status changes to short term: Please note, if you are selected for this position and will be working less than 90 days, the position will automatically revert to a short-term position. Job Opening: The Department of Conservation and Recreation seeks applicants for the position Seasonal Recreation Facilities Supervisor IV (RFS) – Bureau of Pool and Waterfront Safety, North Region, 2026 Summer season to perform the following duties: Please submit a cover letter and resume as part of the application process. Statement of Duties and Responsibilities: Under the direction of Bureau of Pool & Waterfront Safety and Regional PWS Manger, plans, administers, and coordinates DCR’s extensive aquatic program for an assigned Region, while simultaneously supporting program implementation across all regions through participation in work groups, committee assignments and mutual support. The RFS IV is responsible for the initiation and implementation of Bureau programs and services at both guarded and unguarded Designated Swimming Areas (DSAs) and swimming pool facilities within the assigned region. This position works closely with Bureau staff to conduct outreach and recruitment efforts designed to attract and maintain an adequate number of certified and qualified seasonal lifeguards, instructors, facility supervisors and other staff necessary for the safe operation of DCR pools and beaches. Recommends staffing levels and adjustments to work schedules t
