Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Seasonal Snack Bar Cashier/Cook, where you’ll be the friendly face and efficient operator behind our bustling snack bar. This dynamic role combines food preparation, customer service, and member relations to create a lively and welcoming environment for visitors. As a key contributor, you’ll ensure quick, quality service while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of snack bar foods, including quick bites, beverages, and light meals, following established recipes and safety guidelines Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience Handle POS transactions with precision. No cash is involved in transactions. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and food prep areas in compliance with food safety regulations. Dishwashing duties are included. Assist with food safety practices such as proper food handling, storage, and rotation to ensure quality and compliance Support other team members by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the snack bar area remains inviting and organized This is a position where you can earn tips Great job for students on summer vacation Experience Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems Culinary experience or background in the food industry enhances your ability to prepare quality menu items efficiently Strong time management skills to handle busy periods while maintaining accuracy in sales and food prep Proven customer service skills with an ability to upsell products naturally and create positive guest interactions Basic math skills for retail math calculations, and daily reporting tasks Experience working in a retail or grocery store setting is beneficial for understanding inventory management and sanitation standards Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable guest experiences!
