SEASONAL JOB:THIS POSITION WILL LAST THROUGH MAY 31 The order picker is responsible for filling customer orders and deliver them to the inspection department in a manner that meets company standards for safety and productivity.Pickers are responsible for efficiently picking customer orders for shipment and pick up, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is accurately packed and ready for shipment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities: Accurately count material per customer order and pack order in corresponding box Knowledgeable of products and packing process Responsible for scanning merchandise prior to fulfilling customer orders Assist walk-in customers with order pick-up/returned orders by helping load or unload merchandise from their vehicles Warehouse maintenance (ie:housekeeping) Any other responsibilities assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:None REQUIRED Qualifications: Must have good team work and effectively communicate with others. Must be dependable Must have basic math and computer skills. Must be willing to work weekends. Must be at least 18 years of age. The exceptional skill of attention to detail. Ability to operate a standup forklift (preferred) Knowledge of inventory (preferred) OTHER DUTIES AND Responsibilities:Physical:As a Picker, you are required to stand for long periods of time, walk, stoop, use hands to pack boxes and/or lift boxes, as well as stretch and reach with arms extended.Employees regularly will lift 20 pounds and up to 50 pounds with assistance.This is a production environment, so employees are exposed to moving mechanical parts, fluctuating temperatures and a louder noise level.Pay:$17.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
