Seasonal Watering Crew Member

The Seasonal Watering Crew Member will be responsible for ensuring and maintaining the appearance and health of all plant material in the Nursery Department's care by following watering standards, as well as performing other general plant maintenance duties.Employment will be seasonal only with the season generally beginning in March and ending in November (dependent on weather, available work and other related variance).Role and Responsibilities Follow watering standards to ensure the well-being of perennials, trees, and shrubs Assist with the planting, growing, and maintenance of all Nursery Department plant material as needed Unload products, materials, and supplies and move products to designated areas as instructed Perform winterization activities Label, tag, pull, sort and deliver plants by variety other related duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements successful completion of on-the-job training Preferred Skills and additional notes good written and verbal communication skills basic knowledge of plants and gardening or an interest in learning about plants must be able to work outside in all weather conditions prolonged periods of standing, walking, stretching, bending, kneeling, and pulling must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time ability to work weekends and holidays ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time ability to be a team player, as well as work independently ability to multitask and be detail oriented maintain a regular, dependable attendance record be 17 years of age or older Why work with RSC Landscaping?
