Job Description
A globally leading consumer device company based in Austin, TX is looking for Insider Threat Analyst to join their team! Responsibilities: Leverage business intelligence, OSINT, and corporate data to address leaks and risks Prepare briefs and reports for executive briefings, law enforcement, and/or civil litigation referrals Collaborate with attorneys, investigators, digital forensic experts, and analysts. Foster strong partnerships across businesses. Conduct investigations into insider threats Investigate misappropriation or theft of intellectual property, unauthorized disclosures or leaks of confidential information Conduct investigations into cyber intrusions and complex frauds Address a variety of related risk and security concerns Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science or Arts degree. Minimum of 5 years experience in conducting intelligence research, analysis, and development of intel reports related to insider threat, IP theft, leaks of non-public confidential information for an in-house investigations team or on behalf of a government agency. Highly skilled in extracting, analyzing, manipulating, organizing and linking large amounts of data from disparate sources, including social media, open source, and deep and dark web; including experience using investigative and forensic tools to aggregate and summarize your findings. Ability to communicate complex findings into meaningful, easy-to-understand formats, including written summaries, visualizations, and presentations. Ability to deliver accurate, impartial findings with consistent attention to detail. Strong collaborator and trusted partner. Knowledgeable in secure handling and storage of physical and electronic evidence in alignment with criminal/civil chain of custody procedures and industry best practices. Demonstrates exceptional integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive data and information. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience conducting complex white collar crime investigations either on an in-house investigations team or on behalf of a government agency. Experience interviewing witnesses and subjects of c. Basic understanding of Federal, California and/or Texas laws relating to trade secret and IP theft, Privacy laws and other regulatory standards. Self-starter who can gain familiarity with new processes and technologies with minimal assistance. Experience quickly issue-spotting, analyzing, linking, and making attribution against complex, ambiguous data sets. Ability to drive results and multitask across complicated and diverse fact patterns, in a fast paced environment. Willingness to travel up to 25%, both domestically and internationally. Type: Contract Duration: 12 months with extension Work Location: Austin, TX (onsite or hybrid) Pay rate: $52.00 - $67.00/ph (DOE)
