Security Engineer

We are seeking a Security Engineer to join a collaborative and fast-paced IT security team responsible for protecting enterprise systems, networks, and infrastructure. This role focuses on strengthening security posture through monitoring, analysis, and the implementation of scalable, forward-thinking solutions. Key Responsibilities: Monitor security tools and logs to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents Perform security assessments and proactively address gaps Develop dashboards, alerts, and manage access controls Administer and optimize tools (SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, patching, MDM, DLP) Manage identity and access across systems Lead incident response, including investigation, containment, and remediation Support audits and ensure compliance with security frameworks and best practices Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and engineering teams to embed security Provide security guidance and training to internal teams Maintain documentation for security operations, incidents, and compliance Required Qualifications: Experience analyzing security logs and detecting threats or anomalies Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking, and security vulnerabilities Hands-on experience with tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and malware protection Scripting or programming experience for automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) Familiarity with cloud environments, especially Microsoft Azure Understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, FedRAMP) Experience supporting security audits This role will require a USC or GC please.
