Overview Join our dynamic security team as a Security Guard working overnight shifts from 11PM to 7AM! In this vital role, you will be the first line of defense in safeguarding our premises, ensuring safety, and maintaining a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property.Your proactive approach and vigilant eye will help prevent incidents, respond swiftly to emergencies, and uphold the highest standards of security.This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment dedicated to safety and protection. Duties Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the facility and detect suspicious behavior. Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including entrances, exits, parking areas, and restricted zones to ensure security protocols are maintained. Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and staff before granting access to secure areas. Respond promptly to alarms or emergencies by assessing situations and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Manage conflict situations effectively using conflict management skills to de-escalate disputes and maintain order. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping and reporting purposes. Enforce loss prevention policies by monitoring for theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action when necessary. Experience Prior experience in security or law enforcement is highly desirable; military background is a plus. Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and security technology is preferred. Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), or law enforcement training are advantageous. Knowledge of conflict management techniques and loss prevention strategies is beneficial. Ability to remain alert during overnight hours while maintaining professionalism and composure.
