Duties Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems (CCTV) to detect suspicious activity and ensure the safety of the premises Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security risks or hazards Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, including medical incidents or security breaches, utilizing first aid and CPR skills when necessary Enforce loss prevention protocols to minimize theft and unauthorized access Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tensions Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records for accountability and review Skills Familiarity with security procedures, loss prevention strategies, and conflict management methods Ability to remain alert, attentive, and calm during extended periods of surveillance or patrols Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and discretion Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
