OverviewWe are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors.The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of duty, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and preventing loss or damage.Candidates with experience in law enforcement, military service, or security are encouraged to apply.The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where professionalism and quick decision-making are essential.Responsibilities Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards Enforce access control procedures by checking identification and maintaining visitor logs Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, providing appropriate action including first aid or CPR if necessary Manage conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management skills to de-escalate disputes Document incidents thoroughly through detailed reports for future reference Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing and preventing theft or vandalism Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized access or misconduct Experience Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is preferred Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and security protocols is advantageous Experience in conflict management and loss prevention strategies is a plus Strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential Familiarity with security equipment and alarm systems will be beneficial This position requires dedication to maintaining a safe environment through vigilance, professionalism, and effective communication.Candidates should be prepared to work flexible hours as needed to ensure continuous security coverage.
