Security Guard (Unarmed)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Courtesy Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety standards. The Courtesy Officer will be responsible for monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Responsibilities Monitor the property through regular patrols and surveillance to deter and detect any suspicious activity. Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents, receiving report information from emergency personnel Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate situations. Conduct thorough investigations of incidents, documenting findings and reporting them as required. Operate and monitor CCTV systems to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises. Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary, maintaining professional relationships with community partners. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property. Provide excellent customer service by assisting residents and visitors with inquiries or concerns. Experience Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or military service is preferred. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring activities within the area.
