Security Guard

Overview A Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, clients, visitors, and property.This role involves monitoring premises, preventing incidents, and responding appropriately to emergencies or suspicious activities.Security guards serve as a visible deterrent to crime and play a critical role in enforcing company policies and safety procedures.They are expected to remain alert, professional, and responsive at all times while representing the company with integrity.Responsibilities 1.Patrol & Surveillance Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas (interior and exterior) Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras Identify and report any suspicious behavior or security risks 2.Access Control Monitor and control entry and exit points Verify identification and authorize access for employees and visitors Maintain visitor logs and issue badges when required 3.Incident Response Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or disturbances De-escalate conflicts when possible Contact emergency services (police, fire, EMS) when necessary 4.Reporting & Documentation Complete daily activity reports and incident reports Accurately document observations, incidents, and actions taken Report safety hazards or policy violations to supervisors 5.Enforcement of Rules & Policies Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Enforce safety regulations and site-specific rules Address unauthorized activities on the premises 6.Customer Service Provide assistance and directions to visitors and staff Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor Act as a point of contact for general inquiries 7.Emergency Preparedness Follow emergency response procedures (evacuation, lockdown, etc.) Assist during drills and real emergencies Help ensure the safety of all individuals on site Pay:From $19.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) License/Certification:Guard Card (Required) Work Location:In person.
