Security Guard Salary: Auxiliary Pay Range Pay Grade 3 Minimum Duty Days: 187 Days Start Date: 2025-2026 Workday Schedule Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Primary Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to provide for the safety of all students, faculty and staff and for the security of all district and campus facilities and equipment. Placement on one of three security guard levels will be based on experience, educational preparation, work performance, and demonstrated expertise. Special Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrated ability to work effectively and harmoniously with administrators and other staff. Treat all people with dignity and respect. Ability to operate a two-way radio. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to follow and convey verbal and written instructions. Ability to schedule and organize security work.
