Benefits: 401(k) Bonus based on performance Signing bonus Training & development Job Posting: Unarmed Security Officer (Grocery Store) Position : Unarmed Security Officer Location : Various Grocery Store Locations Compensation : $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Additional Compensation : Discretionary sign-on bonus and hazard pay (depending on location) Job Overview We are currently seeking professional and dedicated Unarmed Security Officers to join our team, providing security services at grocery store locations. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a calm demeanor, and experience in loss prevention. Responsibilities Maintain a visible presence to deter theft and ensure the safety of employees and customers. Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with store patrons. Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established protocols. Monitor entrances, exits, and store premises for suspicious activity. Document incidents and complete reports as necessary. Communicate effectively with store management and law enforcement if required. Requirements : Customer service skills : Ability to interact positively with store patrons and employees. Calm demeanor : Maintain composure in high-stress or emergency situations. Loss prevention experience : Prior experience in loss prevention or related security roles. CPR certification : Must hold a current CPR certification. Guard Card : Valid California Guard Card required. Reliable transportation : Must have a dependable means of getting to and from work. Benefits : Competitive hourly pay of $18.00 - $20.00. Discretionary sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Hazard pay available based on the specific location and assignment.
