Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Mobile Patrol Security Officer to join our team in the South County area of St. Louis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing loss, and responding to emergencies while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. This is a part-time weekend position for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday overnight shifts. Shift: 3:30 AM – 7:30 AM Location: South County, St. Louis Area Position Type: Mobile Patrol Security Officer Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and parking lots Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assess situations, and take appropriate action Implement loss prevention strategies to deter theft and vandalism Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, and report suspicious activity Provide First Aid and CPR assistance when necessary during emergencies Work closely with law enforcement agencies when required Effectively manage conflicts while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities during shifts Conduct mobile patrols throughout assigned properties and parking areas Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred Active security license/guard card preferred Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable Familiarity with CCTV and surveillance systems is a plus Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is an asset Excellent observation skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments Must be reliable, professional, and able to work overnight weekend shifts Join our team and help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients and community.
