Security Officer Special Events Part Time

Job Overview We are seeking Part Time / On Call Security Officers for our Special Events Division to ensure the safety and security of attendees, staff, and property during various high profile corporate functions. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage crowd control with excellent communication skills to uphold the highest standards of safety and security. All events are in Manhattan. Shifts are published on our scheduling system and you select what events and hours you can work electronically. This is part time/on call and NOT a fulltime job. We do expect part time officers to work a minimum of 2 events/days per month. More work is available to those that want weekly part time hours. Requirements Valid NY security guard license. Proven experience in security roles for special events or related fields is highly desirable. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ability to respond confidently in emergency situations. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods during events of varying durations. Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with team members, attendees, and emergency personnel. FDNY Fireguard License F-04 preferred but not required You must have a black suit, white shirt, dark gray or black tie and dress shoes (business attire) Great work conditions with an established security company.
