Security Officer

Job Summary The Security Officer is responsible for: Patrolling an assigned outdoor area and be responsible for providing high levels of customer service Preventing violations of Las Vegas Monorail rules and regulations, as well as violations of local, state, and federal laws; providing crowd control Responding and providing First Aid to include CPR in cases of emergency Enforcing company policy and procedures, protecting property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire and accidents Investigating and writing accurate reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards and other security related situations Providing any needed assistance to customers, employees, and vendors; monitoring all activities on Las Vegas Monorail property May temporarily perform duties of a Security Supervisor as assigned, and perform other related duties as assigned by a Security Supervisor, or Security Manager. Qualifications: Must be able to work weekends, evenings, holidays and overtime One year of experience in security operations preferred.
