Seeking Flexible or Retired Bilingual (Burmese/English) Individual

Job Summary Contract work - 1099 will be issued.We are seeking a bilingual (Burmese/English) individual with excellent flexibility to provide medical interpretation services in our office as needed for patient appointments.This position requires approximately 10 hours of Burmese language interpretation services per month.Skills/Requirements Bilingual fluency in Burmese and English is essential.A warm, professional demeanor is important.Our patients are our family! Willingness to complete assessment to confirm language fluency.FLEXIBILITY! We are looking for someone who is highly likely to be available between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday-Thursday, to provide in-person interpretation services as we book appointments for our Burmese-speaking patients.Again, our need is approximately 10 hours of services per month.The monthly contract rate will be paid at the stated rate for 1-12 hours of interpretation services per month.Additional compensation of $35/hour applies beyond 12 hours of provided interpretation services per month.Reliable transportation is a must.Timeliness is a must.We are located in downtown Fort Wayne.Paid parking.Your ability to record, track, and show up for scheduled appointments is a must.Your services will be requested anywhere from weeks in advance to just a couple of days.Our team is small and our office is family-oriented - we are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with others.Our patients' experience is very important to us!
