Luke's University Health Network (SLUHN) is seeking a BC/BE Transplant Hepatologist to join our established team of 40+ gastroenterology specialists. We are offering a unique opportunity to provide specialized liver care within a high-volume regional practice. The role also offers dual institutional integration with Penn Transplant Institute as part of a collaborative partnership, serving as a bridge between our regional network and one of the nation's top transplant centers. Clinical and Academic Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient care for a diverse patient population with complex liver diseases Maintain an academic appointment at Penn Medicine to assess liver transplantation eligibility and manage pre- and post-transplant care Provide medical education and mentorship for gastroenterology fellows, internal medicine residents and medical students enrolled in Temple / St. Luke's School of Medicine Collaboration and Integrated Transplant Care: Collaborate closely with interventional radiology, transplant surgery, surgical/medical oncology, and pathology to manage complex hepatobiliary cases Benefit from a strong referral network with over 3,000 annual hepatology visits State-of-the-art endoscopy centers utilizing Olympus scopes and advanced diagnostic tools, including MR elastography for liver fibrosis evaluation EUS/ERCP, EUS-guided liver biopsy, TIPS/RTO, liver directed therapy for hepatobiliary tumors Clinical research opportunities (industry, NIH-sponsored and investigator-initiated) Lead quality improvement and clinical care pathways in transplant hepatology based on the candidate's specific expertise and interests Luke's University Health Network you'll enjoy: Team-based care with dedicated support staff Exceptional compensation package, starting bonus and relocation reimbursement Rich benefits package, including malpractice, health and dental insurance, loan forgiveness and generous CME allowance Teaching, research, quality improvement and strategic development opportunities Luke's \"family\" that will help you adapt to the new region *We do not sponsor visas Christine Figler, RN BSN Physician Talent Acquisition Specialist Luke's University Health Network
