Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Semi Driver to join our dynamic transportation team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Your primary focus will be on delivering freight efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Duties Safely operate semi-trucks with manual transmissions across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods, adhering to safety protocols Transport various types of cargo including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, or specialized freight like dump or roll-off trucks Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure safe operations at all times Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for the type of truck operated (e.g., tanker, flatbed) Proven experience in truck driving, preferably with delivery driver experience involving route driving and freight handling Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and familiarity with various truck types such as tractor-trailers or refrigerated trailers Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual techniques while maintaining safety standards Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols for commercial driving Physical ability to handle loading equipment and perform inspections regularly Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and customers Join our team today and drive your career forward in a role that values your skills, dedication, and commitment to excellence!
