Position Summary Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing accounting team in Savannah, Georgia. This is a highly visible, hands-on accounting role focused on general ledger management, financial reporting integrity, account reconciliations, and supporting the month-end close process. Key Responsibilities Perform and oversee general ledger accounting activities ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules Own key portions of the month-end close process and financial reporting timelines Perform detailed account analysis and reconciliation to maintain financial statement integrity Manage assigned accounting areas including revenue, accruals, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, inventory, lease accounting, payroll support, and bank reconciliations Coordinate with Accounting Associates to resolve discrepancies and improve data quality Support cash management activities including account reconciliations and cash reporting Partner with Billing and Operations teams to ensure accurate financial data flow Support audit preparation and respond to audit requests Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and company procedures Identify opportunities for accounting process improvements and system enhancements Support organizational growth initiatives and scalable accounting operations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 5 to 8 years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required ERP system experience required, NetSuite preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills High attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Professional development and career growth opportunities Stable and growing organization with long-term advancement potential
