The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) , one of New England’s leading animal welfare organizations, is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our organization. By partnering with communities, we help animals heal and thrive, keep pets and people together, and protect animals from harm. What we offer: Base salary ranging from $90,000 to $95,000 annually. What you will do: The person in this role must Get it: understand GAAP, the close cycle, payroll mechanics, and how the pieces of a non-profit's books fit together. Want it: genuinely enjoy reconciliation work, audit prep, and the rhythm of the monthly close with a desire to own the GL. Have it: possess the technical skill and professional capacity needed to deliver a clean, on-time close each month.
