Senior Accountant My client is a $200M national manufacturing company that creates products for the Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Machinery, Rail, and Oil/Gas industries. They've been in business for over 110 years and are still continuing to grow. With this new Senior Accountant position you will be able to learn the business and take on Accounting Manager/Controller duties in the near future. Job Description Assist the Controller in monthly and quarterly submission of financial results Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts Prepare journal entries ensuring all accounting events are properly recorded in the general ledger and properly reported in the financial statements Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions Ad hoc analysis as needed Assistance with special projects as needed MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
