Senior Accountant Sakuu Corporation is a San Josebased advanced manufacturing and battery technology company developing next-generation energy storage solutions using proprietary additive manufacturing processes. Sakuu is focused on scaling innovative battery production to support applications across electric vehicles, aerospace, and energy storage. Sakuu is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations in a fast-paced, manufacturing-focused environment. This is a hands-on role responsible for monthly close activities, inventory and cost accounting, and financial reporting, with direct exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. The position is fully on-site and reports to the Director of Finance. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies Manage inventory and cost accounting, including variance analysis Partner with operations to validate production data, BOMs, and inventory movement Prepare internal financial reports and balance sheet and P&L analysis Support audits, tax filings, and external reporting requirements Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities Assist with cash flow and working capital analysis Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 46 years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close process Manufacturing or technology accounting experience Advanced Excel Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, on-site environment Preferred Qualifications Startup or high-growth company experience Extensive ERP experience Audit support experience Compensation Base salary range: $90,000 $110,000 annually Equity participation Comprehensive health benefits 401(k) plan Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, and internal equity What We Offer Competitive salary and equity package High-impact, hands-on role in a growing manufacturing company Direct exposure to leadership and opportunity for career growth
