About the Opportunity The Senior AI Platform Engineer role is responsible for building and scaling an enterprise AI platform that supports the deployment, management, and governance of AI agents. This position involves owning the full lifecycle of AI-powered systems from design to production and iteration, collaborating across teams to integrate AI solutions into real business workflows. The role is critical in delivering AI tools that enhance operational effectiveness and contribute to the organization’s innovation through data and AI. Responsibilities Develop and maintain an end-to-end Data and AI platform using technologies such as Databricks and AWS. Architect and scale Generative AI capabilities for domain-specific business AI agents embedded in operational workflows. Create documentation and provide support for deploying and managing AI agents at scale. Lead platform investments in areas like RAG infrastructure, embedding pipelines, LLM orchestration, and multi-modal data processing. Serve as a technical mentor to raise engineering standards within the AI and Data teams. Design and integrate AI solutions with internal systems and third-party platforms, including APIs and SaaS tools. Develop AI-powered solutions to improve efficiency and personalization across functions such as Customer Support, HR, Legal, and Finance. Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and business users in a fast-paced environment. Ensure reliability, observability, and maintainability of AI and data production systems. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline. 10+ years of experience in software engineering or data platform development. 3+ years managing development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support of web applications and backend APIs. 0 to 1+ years of experience building and deploying production-ready Generative AI solutions with responsibility for reliability and performance. 1+ years of experience administering AWS platform. Strong skills in Python and AI/ML fundamentals, particularly Generative AI (LLMs, vector databases, prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG systems). Experience with AI agent development frameworks and tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, LlamaIndex, OpenAI SDK, MCP, or A2A. Experience in 0 to 1 MVP development and iterative prototyping. Knowledge of SDLC best practices and modern AI development tools and patterns. Strong communication skills.
